申请资格（本科项目）

（一）基本要求

1、非中国籍公民，身体健康；

2、申请本科生项目者：年龄18周岁以上，40周岁以下，须高中毕业或以上学历；

3、申请上海市外国留学生政府奖学金项目者：年龄不超过25周岁，且未同时获得中国政府其它各类奖学金；

4、申请人如为中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾居民移民并获得外国国籍者，或父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在外国、本人出生时即具有外国国籍者,申请作为来华留学生进入我校学习，必须持有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件四年（含）以上，且最近四年（截止2025年4月30日前）之内在国外实际居住两年以上（一年中实际在国外居住满九个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

（二）语言要求

1、申请中文授课专业，提交中文水平考试HSK4级（含）以上证书。

2、申请英文授课专业，英语水平须满足以下任一条：

（1）母语或官方语言为英语；

（2）雅思成绩6.0分（含）以上、托福成绩80分（含）以上或达到同等英语能力水平。

Eligibility（Undergraduate Program）

Basic Requirements:

1. Non-Chinese citizens in good health.

2. Applicants for undergraduate programs: must be at least 18 years old and no more than 40 years old, with high school diploma or equivalent.

3. Applicants for Shanghai Government Scholarship for International Students: must be no more than 25 years old and not eligible for other Chinese government scholarships at the same time.

4. International students who are immigrants living in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan with foreign nationality or whose parent(s) is (are) Chinese citizen(s) and living in a foreign country and who obtained their foreign nationality at the time of birth, shall have an effective foreign passport or certificate of nationality for at least four years and have in recent four years (as of April 30^th, 2025) lived outside China for two years (Nine months of living outside China in a year shall be deemed one year of living abroad, subject to entry and exit seals).

Language Requirements:

1. Application for academic programme taught in Chinese: In addition to general application materials, international students have to submit a certificate of HSK4 or higher.

2. Application for academic programme taught in English, the English language proficiency must meet one of the following requirements:

（1）Native or official language.

（2）IELTS score above 6.0 (inclusive), TOEFL score above 80 (inclusive) or equivalent English proficiency level.

申请资格（硕士研究生）

1.持有效普通护照的非中国籍公民，身心健康；

2.申请硕士学位者，须具有学士学位，奖学金生年龄不超过35周岁，自费生年龄不超过45周岁；

3.具有相关本科专业背景，或本科阶段修读过相关专业课程，成绩绩点2.5（含）以上（GPA4分制）；

4.语言要求：具有中文水平考试HSK5级（含）以上证书。

备注:

申请时尚未拿到学位证书的应届毕业生需提供所在学校或学院出具的预毕业证明，用以证明申请者有能力于2025年8月前顺利毕业并取得学位证书。

根据《中华人民共和国国籍法》和中华人民共和国教育部有关规定，父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在外国，本人出生时即具有外国国籍的，不具有中国国籍。其作为外国留学生申请者，须于2021年4月30日之前持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件，且从2021年4月30日至2025年4月30日期间有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

对于中国大陆（内地）、香港特别行政区、澳门特别行政区和台湾地区居民在移民并获得外国国籍后作为外国留学生申请者，须于2021年4月30日之前持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件，并拥有已注销中国国籍的证明，且从2021年4月30日起至2025年4月30日止有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

Eligibility（Master Degree Program）

1. Non-Chinese citizen in good health with a valid passport.

2. Applicants studying for a Master’s degree should have obtained bachelor’s degree.Scholarship students shall be under the age of 35 and self-supporting students shall be under the age of 45.

3. Have relevant undergraduate academic background or have completed undergraduate-level courses relevant to intended graduate major, GPA 2.5 or above（Note: 4-Point GPA System）

4. Language Requirement: HSK5 or higher.

Note:

Graduates who did not receive their degree certificates at the time of application should provide pre-graduation certificates issued by their schools or colleges to prove their ability to graduate smoothly and obtain their degree certificates by August 2025.

According to Nationality Law and the regulations of the Ministry of Education of China, applicants who have international nationality at birth, one or both parents is Chinese citizen and are applying to Shanghai University as international students must present valid passport or citizenship documents attained before April 30, 2021 and proof of renunciation of Chinese nationality, along with proof of residence abroad of at least 2 years between April 30, 2021 and April 30, 2025(9 months of residence abroad per year may be considered as one year).

Residents of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan who have emigrated to other countries and are applying to Shanghai University as international students must present valid passport or citizenship documents attained before April 30, 2021 and proof of their renunciation of Chinese nationality, along with proof of residence abroad of at least 2 years between April 30, 2021 and April 30, 2025(9 months of residence abroad per year may be considered as one year).
